At Modern Dentistry Associates, we’ve always been committed to keeping our patients and our team members safe at all times. That hasn’t changed. In fact, we’ve become even more strict with our safety regulations. While our doors may have been closed during COVID-19, we were busy investing in additional safety measures including:
We’ve also added preventative measures to what our team members wear to keep both them and you protected. Each clinical team member will have a Powered Air-Purifying Respirator and scrubs and surgical gowns. We will also be washing and drying the scrubs and gowns every day.
Like most offices, we will be making several changes to our patient appointments. First, we are following the recommendations that you remain in your car until your appointment. We will then ask a few pre-screening health questions and take your temperature. Once you’re seated in the operatory and are joined by the provider, you’ll both be asked to stay in the operatory until the procedure is complete. If your provider needs anything, a roving assistant will bring it. Collection of copays/payments and scheduling of next appointments will be handled in the operatory as well to minimize the areas used in the office. When your appointment is over, you will be escorted back to your vehicle. You will notice that we are now front desk-less, meaning there will be no team member at the front desk to greet you, but rest assured that the team you know and trust is still here working hard behind the scenes to keep you safe and provide you with comfortable, first-rate dental care.
